You don’t have to be pregnant or have kids to appreciate a good rocking chair. When I forged out into the real world and got my own place, I bought a couch and love seat set, and that’s about all my budget would allow. I made due with hand-me-downs for everything else and over the years we’ve collected newer pieces that we’re fairly happy with ā but we all love getting new stuff.
Lately, I can’t stop obsessing over these little rocking chairs. Of course, now that there’s a baby on the way, my urge to get a rocker is even more prevalent.
What do you think? Maybe we should we go for a glider, or something more wooden and classic?
That's a beautiful rocker! If you tried it out and found it comfortable, I'd say to go for it. If you plan on breastfeeding, they say you should have an ottoman, so you could get one to match.
A rocker is a must!!! Just make sure its comfy and your all set! Good arm support will be a huge advantage as well š
One friend who has a baby recommends one with padded arms to make sitting and rocking for long periods of time more comfortable.
I loooove the design of that rocker and have noticed it on a lot of other blogs too, but it certainly doesn't look very comfy for all those late night sessions…
I agree with all these comments. I like the rocker but comfort and practicality comes first in my books! Spoken like a real man!
When you wake up later are you going to mention that 'comes first' should have been 'come first'?? I looked for an edit button but couldn't find one!
