december goals

Whoa. I really hate it when I check in with Blogger and realize that I’ve neglected to blog for days. Not to mention the fact that we’re four days in, and I have yet to establish any goals.
December tends to be a busy month, no matter what. I’m looking at my calendar wondering how it’s possible that there isn’t one free weekend until the new year. With that in mind, I’m going to attempt to be productive … startinggg … now.
— Blog more frequently. And more interestingly. I’ve got so many projects up my sleeves that I look like a body builder. This month, I will do at least 3 of said projects and write fascinating posts about each one.
— Get up early enough to make nice weekday breakfasts with Husband. Today, we got up in time to make smoothies. It was the perfect start to the day. I’m going to try really hard to remember this feeling when the alarm goes off on Monday.
— Every few months, things start to feel cluttered in our itty bitty apartment. So, I plan to deep clean two rooms. This includes sorting and organizing misc drawers and closets, purging as many unnecessary items as possible, washing windows and the works.
— Have all Christmas cards sent out by Dec. 11.
— Have all gifts bought, organized, wrapped and sorted for their appropriate destinations by Dec. 18.
— Plan for, cook for, buy for, attend and enjoy several potlucks, Christmas parties and holiday dates between now and 2010.
What are your must-dos this month?

  1. I like how you will be writing about your projects that you complete. Cannot wait to hear about them.I probably should do a deep cleaning somewhere in our place too. Just where to start…
